1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we (operator: well-digger, hereinafter referred to as "we") collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Match 3 Crazy Ocean (hereinafter referred to as "the Game") and related services. By using the Game, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please immediately stop downloading, installing, or using the Game.
This Policy complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google Play's Developer Policies, adhering to the principles of legality, fairness, necessity, and good faith in processing your personal information.
2. Personal Information We Collect and Its Purpose
We collect information in strict accordance with the "minimum necessity" principle, only gathering data required to implement core game functions:
2.1 Game Operation and Local Save
To ensure the Game runs properly and enable local save functionality, we collect your basic device information, including device model, operating system version, device identifiers (such as OAID/IDFA, used solely to associate local saves), and storage status.
Purpose: To adapt to different device environments, generate and link local game progress (e.g., level clearance status, in-game tower/resource holdings). This information is stored locally on your device and will not be uploaded to our servers.
2.2 Ad Display
To provide ad services (including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads), we collect ad-related information through the integrated AdMob platform, such as device identifiers (OAID/IDFA), network connection type, ad impressions, ad clicks, and rewarded ad completion status.
Purpose: To enable AdMob to match ad content, track ad performance, and verify rewarded ad completion (for in-game rewards like extra resources or tower unlocks). Collection and use of this information are solely the responsibility of AdMob; please refer to Google's AdMob Privacy Policy for details.
2.3 In-App Purchases
If you use in-app purchase features (e.g., buying premium towers or resource packs), we collect payment-related information, including purchase amount, timestamp, order number, and payment method identifier (e.g., "Google Pay"). We do NOT collect sensitive payment data such as credit card numbers, passwords, or account balances.
Purpose: To confirm transactions, generate purchase receipts, and resolve payment-related issues (e.g., failed delivery of purchased in-game items).
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We will never sell, rent, or exchange your personal information with third parties. Information may be shared only in the following necessary scenarios:
3.1 Third-Party Payment Processors
To complete in-app purchases, we share your purchase amount, order number, and payment method with your selected payment provider (e.g., Google Pay). Shared information is used solely for transaction settlement and order verification; payment processors are prohibited from using this data for other purposes.
3.2 AdMob Advertising Platform
To display ads and distribute rewards, we share your device identifiers (OAID/IDFA), ad interaction behavior, and rewarded ad status with AdMob. AdMob's use of collected information is governed by its independent privacy policy; refer to Google's official AdMob Privacy Notice for details.
3.3 Legal Disclosure
We may disclose relevant personal information when required by laws, regulations, judicial authorities, or regulatory bodies, or to protect public interests, your legitimate rights, or the rights of others.
4. Data Storage and Protection
4.1 Storage Method and Retention Period
Locally Stored Information: Device data and game saves are stored exclusively on your device with no fixed retention period. They will be deleted immediately when you uninstall the Game or clear app data manually.
Payment Information: Purchase records (e.g., order number, purchase item) are retained for 90 days after transaction completion, after which they will be anonymized (removing personally identifiable information, retaining only statistical data like transaction amounts).
Ad-Related Information: Stored independently by AdMob, following its privacy policy and applicable regulations.
4.2 Storage Location
We and our third-party service providers (including payment processors) store data within China. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, including China, which may have different data protection laws. By using the Game, you consent to such transfers.
4.3 Security Measures
We implement multiple technical and management measures to protect your information:
Local data is encrypted at the device level to prevent unauthorized access (e.g., preventing third-party apps from tampering with game saves).
Information transmitted to third parties uses SSL encryption to ensure secure data transfer (e.g., payment order information sent to Google Pay).
Access to information is strictly restricted, with only necessary personnel authorized to handle relevant data (e.g., staff responsible for resolving payment issues).
In the event of a personal data breach, we will take immediate remedial actions (e.g., disabling affected data transmission) and notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
5. Your Rights (Including GDPR Rights for EEA Users)
You have the following rights regarding your personal information, with specific operation methods:
5.1 Right to Access and Rectify
You can view the types of collected information disclosed in this Policy in the Game's 【Settings】-【About Game】.
If you find errors in device information associated with local saves (e.g., saves not matching your device), you can reset it by uninstalling and reinstalling the Game (note: back up local saves first to prevent loss of level progress or in-game items).
5.2 Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten")
Local Data: Go to your device's "App Management," select Era Warriors:Tower Defense, and tap "Clear Data" to delete all locally stored device information and game saves.
Order Information: To delete retained purchase records, contact us using the details in Section 7. We will complete the deletion within 15 working days.
5.3 Right to Withdraw Consent for Ads
iOS users: Go to 【Settings】-【Privacy & Security】-【Tracking】 to disable tracking for Era Warriors:Tower Defense, or enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in 【Ads】.
Android users: Go to 【Settings】-【Privacy】-【Limit Ad Tracking】 to disable authorization.
After withdrawal, you can still view ads, but they may be less relevant (e.g., not tailored to your interests), and core game functions (e.g., tower defense gameplay, local saves) will remain unaffected.
5.4 Right to Data Portability (For EEA Users)
You can request a copy of your personal data (e.g., purchase records, list of collected device information) in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g., CSV file) by contacting us. We will provide this within 30 days of your request.
5.5 Right to Object
EEA users may object to the processing of their personal data for advertising purposes by following the opt-out procedures in Section 5.3. You may also object to the processing of your payment information (except for records required by law) by requesting deletion via Section 5.2.
6. Children's Privacy
The Game is not designed for users under 14 years of age, and we do not actively collect children's personal information. If we become aware that a child has used the Game without parental consent, parents/guardians may contact us using the details in Section 7, and we will immediately delete relevant information (e.g., local saves associated with the child's device) and assist in terminating service access.
7. Policy Updates
If we need to modify this Policy due to business adjustments (e.g., adding new ad types, updating data retention rules), we will notify you via an in-game pop-up when the Game starts, with the "Last Updated" date revised at the top of this Policy.
Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to changes, please stop using the Game immediately.
